Coaches Dying in office...

Post by GreenBear »

What are the Chances an 80 year-old Dick Harter dies in office while under contract for 4 years?

I jest, but in all seriousness, is it common for coaches to retire in the middle of their contract? Or do they usually wait until the end of their contract? Just trying to gauge risk/reward.

You made my day:D! At first I thought it was another bitchslap for the admins. Believe they cant die, never noticed someone disappeared. It only can happen a player retires while his contract is still running.

I think there is an age limit for coaches. I thought it was mid 70s but obviously not. IN game if the coach retires then his contract is off the books but I'm sure the admins will keep the contract there until it runs out. Myles can confirm but I'd be surprised in Coach Harter does not retire before contract expiry

If the coach retires then he walks away from his salary. That's how it works IRL and that's how it will work here.
