Welcome to the second edition of the "Who Would You Rather Have?' series! This series will feature two players that are similar in profile/play style/age, and we will let you all decide who would you rather have for your franchise! Today we have Philadelphia's savior in
Jabari Parker, and Charlotte's franchise piece in
Andrew Wiggins! Both players are very young, as Wiggins is only 22 years old, while Parker is 23. Parker has always been the more dominant scorer, while Wiggins is better when it comes to defense. While Parker was selected as the first overall pick, Wiggins was the second overall pick. Parker has been a mainstay in Philly since day one, meamwhile Wiggins bounced from Phoenix to now Charlotte in the huge
Okaro White blockbuster. Both of these wing players are pretty versatile, and are expected to carry their respective franchises for years to come.
Jabari Parker: 23 years old. 35.5 MPG, 25.9 PPG, 5.6 RPG, 0.9 SPG, while shooting 48% from the field. The 76ers are currently 29-35, fourth place in the Atlantic division right now.
Andrew Wiggins: 22 years old. 37.9 MPG, 22.7 PPG, 5.3 RPG, 1.2 SPG, 1.1 BPG while shooting 44% from the field. The Hornets are currently 34-33, riding on a hot streak, and is third place at the Southeast division right now.
Who would you pick to man the small forward position for your team? Both of these studs are very talented, as Parker is pretty much an unstoppable scorer, while Wiggins is turning into an elite two way wing that is still working on developing better efficiency on his offensive game. Any franchise will be lucky to have one of these guys on their team, but as a GM, WHO would YOU choose to lead your franchise? Comment below!
