Nebraska 69 Hartford Hawks 71

A 2 point defeat on the road is a big disappointment for the Cornhuskers as 30 points from Kerry Drexler (10/25) wasn't enough to grab a 5th win in a row. A disappointing 39% in the field was not quite enough to beat Hartford, who shot 54%.

Disappointed to lose, but a close road game can go either way, so hopefully it won't set us back too much. Next up is out of conference rivals Creighton (5-1) in 8 days time, probably the toughest of our games so far and a big test to see where we are as a group.

Arizona State came from a 18 point deficit to upset the Marquette Warriors. The Game was played before a sell out rowdy crowd at Wells Fargo Arena in Tempe Az. The Sun Devils were led by Guards Robbie Johnson 14 pts. and Larry Greene 18 pts. The game changed when PF corey Miller entered the game and took over the defensive boards with 10 rebounds. Marquette could only get 2 second chance pts. While the Sun Devils scored 18 in the paint. The Devils now stand at 3-3.

Thanks for the update. My HTML didn't load, so you saved me from having to hit refresh every five minutes. The only thing we seem to do consistently is blow huge leads. Sounds like I'm going to have to look at what my second half lineup and substitution patterns look like...

Wow... nice job by my bench going scoreless in a combined 61 minutes of game time! (I guess that it at least proves that I have picked the right starters.)

Looked like it was a tough defensive game from both sides. Most impressive was Arizona State's 8 steals and 8 blocked shots.
