Can the Celtics do it again? After being the underdog against the Washington Wizards the Celtics wont be the favorite in the second round either. Indiana had by far the best record during the regular season and swept the Chicago Bulls in the first round. On top Paul George played unbelievable well against Jimmy Butler, one of the best defender. George who is averaging 31 points, 7.8 rebounds, 4.3 assists and 2.1 steals needs to get slowed down if Boston wants to have any chances. Rumors are saying the management is planing to let Rajon Rondo play against the much taller George. If they do, could it backfire? A 6-1 PG defending a 6-9 wing? Rondo is a great defender (Editors note, 17.3 points, 5.3 rebounds, 8.0 assists, 2 steals, 56%, 94%stop, 0.7PA/SF against John Wall) and already showed against Washington what he can do on the defensive end of the court limiting Wall to 14.5 points and an abysmal 27% from the field but can he keep it going against George?

We are very happy about how we played so far. Nobody thought we would make the postseason and now we even raped a very good Washington team. I wont say our journey ends here, but no doubt, the Pacers are the favorites. Still, obviously, we will fight in every game. Rajon, Goran and especially Paul want the title and they do all they can to achieve their goal. It will be tough to steal one on the road, but I have something special in mind that could suprise goikiri and his squad. No idea if it will work, but I give it a shot. Anyway, if we are eliminated, or even swept by Indiana, it was a very succesfull season for us. Having two picks and moveable assets allows us to improve this offseason - and believe me, we will be stronger next season. Go Celtics.

great read Dennis as usually. I disagree, however. with 'Nobody thought we would make the postseason'. Perhaps on day one of the season but I think you were a playoff lock after the 'Milwaukee massacre'

Would be very interesting to see how you play Indiana. I see they have Gay at PF and Paul did not have a good game 1. Should goikiri get him to post up more?

Still not sure it was a massacre. They got rid of several bad contracts and received a top8 pick in a very solid draft.

You have the size advantage on the frontline, Rudy/Amir is a tough matchup to slow down but Sanders/Faverani will be able to control the boards more. If it turns into a half court battle Boston has a very good chance, if it turns into a high turnover, high pace game the Pacers move on.

Again spot on. We need to cut down the turnover (looking at you Rajon) to have a chance. But George is very terrifying on both ends of the floor. So far we won the reboundbattle by far which are good news. Also their frontcourt is struggling.. Well, still doesnt matter if George erupts for 35+point games... We need to slow him down.
But yeah, decided to keep Rondo starting at PG.
