While I've played many different styles based on the talent on my rosters I always seem to eventually settle into a team that's fundamentally sound. Defense, passing, and shooting. While cliche every roster I build and every play I trade for needs to have these skills at their position in my perfect world. I'm really looking forward to working with Cleveland as I see a lot of those fundamentals already in place on the roster. The challenge will be making getting this team to come up with their own identity and swagger. We have the unique luck of a top pick in the draft and we most certainly will be drafting a player that we feel embodies all of the swagger and culture I want to set in place. Rumors/Roster Evaluations:
So far the new staff has only had a limited time to evaluate the roster, but we do know the GM has gotten a chance to call all of the players and introduce himself. He and Kyrie were spotted having lunch at local hotspots. Sources say they discussed roster composition and various players around the league and in the draft. According to sources, Kyrie is on the record as saying he would love one of the many dominant big men in this draft to be added to the roster. DrumR was overheard saying he wanted to emphasize a search for pure shooters at the 2. With the dynamic 6'6 PG DePaula on the roster, Kyrie will be playing more of a combo role this season with less dominance of the ball. Hopefully this can keep him healthy for another 82 game grind.

Kyrie Irving: Unquestioned team leader and captain. Kyrie's numbers will put him in the all-star conversation like every season. While he played at the 1 exclusively last season according to the previous staffs notes, the new coaching staffs system will be one in which positional versatility is emphasized. George DePaula: An absolutely dynamic passing 6'6 PG who is one of the main reasons the new GM leapt at the opportunity. The ability to see and pass over the top of the defense will be invaluable as the new system looks the make the open 3 fierce weapon. Forwards
Damien Inglis: The biggest question mark on the roster the new staff is still trying to figure out what exactly to make of him. Loved by some hated by other one thing is for certain. 6'9 guys who can play multiple positions and shoot are a rarity in basketball. There's a faction of the staff pushing for his return in the hopes this 3 point shooting from last season was no fluke. We know his defense is always there. Last season: 12ppg 4rpg 1apg 40%fg 40%3fg

Jarnell Stokes and Terrance Jones: The Smash Bros of the PF these guys are also members of our shut down service and bring a blue collar attitude to the team.
