Who's hot, who's not? (Week 4)

Post by rh0xxy »

HOT
1. Atlanta - no one was hotter than this Hawks squad who has compiled 5 successive wins and 9 wins in the last 10 games. This team is expected to continue the course with its talented deep rotation with Bender joining the group.

2. Dallas - 4-game win streak which is impressive considering two of those games were without Zion. This team is a legitimate threat to the Nets aspiration of a 2-peat.

3. Miami - as expected the Heat have overtaken the top spot. The game to game adjustment has been working tremendously for so many years now, so there is no reason to ever doubt GM Silo.

4. Orlando - finally, the Magic was turning the ship on a much better position. They have won 3 straight now capping it with an impressive road win against the Knicks.

5. Houston - the Rockets seems have finally found the right formula, much earlier this time than previous seasons. They have won 6 of the last 7 games and it's looking really good since Gant's move to the PF spot.

NOT
1. New Orleans - no positive moves right here as they continue to drop games after games and currently on an 8-game slump. It doesn't help that their GM is no where to be found lately.

2. Phoenix - the Suns has lost 7 in a row and there could be no stopping this with 4 straight road games coming. Good thing their GM is active enough to learn some from this.

3. Clippers - the Clips is next on the lost with a 5-game losing skid. Their GM is on a long month leave and they might be cruising on to a lottery projected season unless some unexpected turnaround happens when GM Ramcus returns.

4. Sacramento - the Kings is having a hard time figuring things out and they are 3-7 in the last 10 games with 3 losses in a row currently. With a talent laden squad, they are expected to right the ship sooner than later but if not, there's nothing to worry about with so many lottery projected picks in the bag.

5. Denver - the Nuggets are on a mini slump with 3 consecutive losses and 4 of the last 5. A move or two is imminent but staying the course could be the ideal way.

Yeah absolutely, we're not going well. Haven't changed a lot really lineup wise so maybe I need to look at it a bit more.

The game thinks we should be doing better haha. We start as favourites according to DDS in nearly all games yet we're 9-13. We're favourite against Washington on the road too haha.

Only a question of time. So much talent on the roster, that will click on some point. But they are also young ... up and down it goes :-)
Same for us, we got lucky to have a favorable part of our schedule after this terrible start and made the best of it. I hope the young guns can keep it up a little longer.

The Kings are going to own the WC very soon. Ryan has done a masterful job accumulating top 5-10 draft picks

Kofi is going to be more than capable of being a #1. He hasn't even gotten his boost yet (which is coming)

This, not to mention his other incoming lotto picks. Fortunately it looks like mays may not pan out.
