Phil, you’re a good GM and I’d hate to see you go. I think most believe you were doing well turning that franchise around. Like a lot of people, I’ve been in the position where I’ve needed to step away from the league for a little bit to recharge the batteries. Most know that I wanted out of New York ..I’m not sure ..I’m hopeless at strats and at trying to build a winning team ..can I step down as knicks gm remain in the leAgue and wait for a new team ?

You're not hopeless at strats. It's just a bad team. We have a process for transfering now and you're a long time GM. I know a lot of GMs would be happy if one of the talent rich teams like Dallas and others had GMs. Hell you could save the trade market this season.

At least ask the admins if a change would be possible. We have some openings, so maybe they say yes. Im normally no fan of swapping teams, but you are very nice guy, would be sad to see you go. So if the current NY situation is the reason, I would always prefer to see you swap.

Yeah, with 4 open teams right now, I think if swapping teams will allow you to have motivation to stay in the league, then I am all for it, as we have trouble filling in one spot as it is.
