Someone get Jon some coffee! Cleasby, what are your production interns doing if they aren’t getting everyone their drinks?!

I’ve now reached the awards part of the podcast and I take back what I said earlier. Jon you are perfect as you are and don’t need any coffee. I appreciate the GMoY consideration :D

The awards talk was definitely interesting, it’s really difficult to figure out MIP and even DPoY and 6MoY are a little tough to research. We need to find a way to put out stats primers for each award every year, just like excel spreadsheets like Doug used to do. Great work guys, great listen.

Great/fun podcast. Enjoyed the part where Chris joked around about me deliberately causing some heat. Couldn't be more true lol

It's playoff time. Got to ruffle some feathers up this time of the season.

Disappointed Jon didn't believe I wouldn't make it out of the West, but I like proving people wrong, so let's see how everything goes.

As always very entertaining and insightful!
Like to hear the opinions of veteran GM's and thanks for mentioning the Hawks in a good way :-)

We were off to a great start in the series but BI reacted and gave us a beating in game 3. Hope we can go back to the way we played the last half of the season.

The biggest surprises for me so far is Denver and Houston, Denver has obviously the talent but Phoenix is no team you can take on easy. And Houston is holding up awesome with all this bad luck. Monk is unbelievable.

For MVP and ROY I'm with you. Simmons (no question) and Tatum (very close over Bagley).
DPOY I'm not decided yet. Lonzo deserves it but he only played 43 games, which would put him out of my list. But as far as I know it was the mistake of the former GM not to bring him back in the lineup. So not sure.

GMOY I have Kyrus in my list. If this team is healthy they will make some noise. Marcos of course also right in this tier. Lets see who gets my vote.

Thanks for having me in the COY conversation! I personally are very happy how this team performed going into the playoffs. But I also think here it is where the coaching is really deciding. As a rookie playoff coach I enjoy it a lot, but would not out myself there before I can win an actual series. And BI is not laying down doing nothing :-)
