Regardless point remains. You could have had kaun for virtually free who imo is an upgrade over your current front court. It also would have allowed you to trade len or portis along with another asset and acquire another asset to help your team further compete this year. But you traded what could have been kaun for a likely mid to late first round pick next year. It could pan out, it may not.

But just showing how easily the front court could have been upgraded.
FINALLY a logical HC Rule our work is done

The second paragraph was clearly about Austin. I assumed the first was as well since no names were mentioned.

Regardless, I reiterate that Len and Kaun are virtually the same player (minus DI). I wasn't going to spend a 1st round pick on a guy that is an older version of Len with better DI.

I'm simply trying Portis out in the center spot to see how he does. If he doesn't perform well, I'll go back to Len. I like how Portis will force a good amount more TOs (especially since centers typically have low HDL), and he'll draw more fouls (which could be argued is a good defense).

The difference between Kaun and Len is negligible in my opinion. It certainly wasn't going to be the move that puts me in legitimate contender status.

And I still have the ability to trade Len or Portis with another asset to acquire other assets. I have a lot of depth at the front-court.

Kaun is by far better than Portis. Austin has a unique skillset, however, someone could argue Kaun is better as he likes his skillset more.
Always a matter of what you value most.
I was talking about FT, he is the worst FT bigman ;)

as I said: great FT, average FT, mr. brick
