I do think Bryce Johnson gets traded. Marcos and I were both very high on him coming into the draft, but I would say that he has been a disappointment. I am sure Marcos would agree and think his numbers are inflated due to how bad this team is or how many rebounding opportunities he gets due to how poorly this teams fg% is.
I still think Minnesota made a mistake. To me the deal wasnt a salary dump nor do I think Rhoxxy looked at it as such. Marcos will be able to get rid of Kanter without issues and Rhoxxy could have as well if he concentrated on him. But I think Holiday is that useful of a player. He is that glue guy every team wants to have.
Myles, I almost thought I had to shoot you for calling Ibaka average. He is only a top 5 defensive front court player in the league. 2nd in the league in blocks, shooting 52% from the field. Unfortunately for him he plays alongside 3 of the top scorers in the CSL. Just not enough opportunities for him. Only thing average about his game is his rebounding.
And another player to add to the average list is Sam Thompson. We just never think of him due to his minutes. And ratings wise with roughly 60s across the board is Jake Layman from Brooklyn. Only rating that isnt in the 60s is his blocks which is 50 (good for a wing) and drawfoul at 28. I would actually call Dekker a poor mans Layman, plus Layman has a better shooting potential if he can reach it.
Good job as usual fellas. No doubt Marcos has his hands full with this rebuild, but he's always been a good trader, so I'm sure he will find his pieces soon. He also have some good picks that will help, and plenty of cap space to get more assets.
Atlanta GM is making small, but necessary moves to give them a sense of direction. Scouting for this draft will be huge, as they have a chance to land a franchise piece here. Murray, Russell, and Winslow can be complimenting pieces.
Pacers should be a playoff time right now, as evident by their record last year. Higrade just needs to set lineups, and strats to make it work, as this team is vey talented. Not many moves will be needed, and even if so, it will only be a consolidation move for an upgrade.
I strongly believe that Murray and Russell can coexist in this engine somehow, with the one with better handles at PG. Actually, that would be a great fit with Justise Winslow because they would take the ball away from Winlsow as much as possible, two high volume scorers that demands the ball and can playmake..
Appreciate the words, Myles. Glad to be back.
I'll be very surprised if players on my roster actually FINISHES the year with us lol.
Actually we're only not dealing players if there really isn't enough compensation there. But I firmly believe we have players for all kinds of squads and will end up trading all our guys.
Rest to come as I can't listen to it all right now!

Marcos won a title so pretty much had a right to make whatever high risk, high reward deals he wanted really. After winning, he just wanted something different and obviously he left but he did with a title and can now play with the team as he sees fit.
Hawks GM definitely switched on. From the chats we've had, looks like great addition to the league.
