A solid win at home against an over matched Hofstra team. I can’t speak highly enough about Richard Carter’s play thus far this season. The junior shooting guard is averaging 16.8 points – with a shooting slash of 52/42/82 – to go along with 3.4 rebounds and 1.4 steals per game. We go as he goes and we want him to shoot as much as possible.

Ohio State 59 Nebraska 75
Nebraska kept their unbeaten home record in tact with a comfortble win over Ohio State. It was star man, and Big 10 Player of the week, Kerry Drexler who ran the show, with 25 points. It was another great display from the senior who is averaging 21.6 points now, and will be tough to replace next season. His performances will hopefully help the team to a good finish and encourage future recruits to select Nebraska.
Next up is a return trip to Purdue who we beat by 20 in our first conference match up, but are a much stronger outfit at home, and are defending their own unbeaten home record which stands at 6-0.
