San Antonio: Our sources within the Spurs organization have shared with us that their first phone calls were not to the stacked RFA class in this season's off-season. It is believe the Spurs set up a conference call with Rockets player KAT and Justise Winslow together. The Spurs were willing to commit all their caproom to the pair bring them alongside the other two new Spurs ZDK and Shaw Harrison. It is not known how long the call lasted but but Winslow and KAT were surprised to receive the interest.

Damn didn’t notice there is a chance rockets my fall apart this off-season.

I'm sure KW has a plan, but if he does have to pick one it's an easy choice (even though I know he loves Winslow).

The Spurs have been an interesting story for the past couple seasons with all of their cap space and this year seems like it wont be any different.

Rockets can sign both to max offers and have just under 13m to sign 4 players. Resigning josh davis for under 8 million will probably be critical to them

But at those costs long term will mkae it harder for him to resign Monk and keep the other two long term

yep, basically has to go all in this year and know he will lose some or have to make trades in season

Kyrus won't let them walk. If anything you sign them to a max and there will still be a buyer later in the season via trade. Assets are assets.

True but we also have never dealt w contract sizes like this before
