This Pacers team is badly in need of an efficient scorer that can put an offense on his back, and that may well be what Shannon is. He's a driver with shot creation ability for days, size to play 3 positions, and good enough outside shooting to keep the defense honest. His handles are a bit loose but he passes decently. He's got some long-shot defensive potential, including great shot blocking for the position, which if he fulfills, should make him a really nice player more than worth his draft position. Only real weaknesses here are his mid-range game, and the possibility that he's too old to fully realize his defensive upside. He's also not the smartest player out there and fouls out of more games than you'd like. But overall an excellent player for the Pacers to add.

Alongside Miller and Bates led my tier two. A very good basketball player.

Nice pick. Could end up as the ROY of this class.

This team needed offense in the worst way, and if Shannon were younger, I think he would've gone earlier.

This pacers team is ready to compete now. They really shouldn't still be picking this high in the draft. The embarrassment of riches they have is off the charts. Hopefully Shannon gets this team competing for a play in spot.
