A stretch big to pair with the Ayton/RW3 frontcourt, Carlson is an excellent three point shooter for a big man, with an okay enough post game. His man defense could become a strength, while he's not getting a ton of stocks or rebounds. This is more to simply replace the retired Vezenkov. When he gets the ball, he's probably not giving it up, which is fine because you don't really want him trying to pass anyways.
