Lakers Offseason Block

Don't Bother
Cheick Diallo
All 1st round picks

Probably Not
Jon Leuer - He's going to get the focus of our pref work this year, so we're likely going to keep him until we get his value up.

So.Many.Bigs.
Georgios Papagiannis - Stellar 2 way upside - only 20 so still has time to grow into it. Willing to deal one of him or Wood, but not both
Christian Wood (Can be fatty expiring next summer due to TO - young and talented starter). Either he or Greek Papa will be our long-term starter
Tyler Stone (Day 30 Restricted - Starter quality and good sized expiring
Daniel Miller (Fatty expiring next summer and starter quality)
Joel Bolomboy (Cheap expiring and decent rotation big)

If The Right Offer Came Along
Patrick McCaw

Other Available Things
Keifer Sykes (Day 30 Restricted - Talented young scorer with high accuracy shot, good DRWFL for a guard, and some ability to steal. Locked into a multi-year contract)
Austin Rivers (Day 30 Restricted - Impending RFA next summer. Our starting PG by default. I’m fine keeping him, working on his prefs, using beard pics. Could also trade him, but just because I got him for free doesn’t mean he goes for garbage 2nds. Especially since scoring PGs are a defining feature of my top teams)
Abdel Nader (Day 30 Restricted - Defensive specialist with good accuracy who won't eat shots from scorers)
Mateusz Ponitka (Less scoring, more DRWFL, worse defense than Sykes, but a young reclamation project
Chicago Bulls 2023 2nd
Los Angeles Clippers 2023 2nd
Portland Trailblazers 2023 2nd
7.8 million in cap space

Looking For
Rebuilding stuff - We're fully committing to it. That means youth and picks
* I like our frontcourt rotation of Diallo, Papa, and Wood, so we're primarily looking at PG/SG/SF in terms of players

Other Notes
* 2nds carry almost no value for us
* We have a PG. No urgency to acquire a young starter upgrade, but will listen.
* 7.8 million in cap + fatty expirings = chance for us to absorb contracts you don't want for the right price

* Remember, 2nds hold little to no value for us
Bump and reminder, because teams are apparently forgetting this.
