UTAH Deadline Block, Please?

Post by Ocons »

WOULD LOVE TO GET SOMETHING DONE AT THE DEADLINE, VERY MOTIVATED TO MOVE ANYTHING BUT EXUM. Would really love it even more if some folks would respond, especially after they've initiated the discussion. . . you know who you are.

Damian Lillard is restricted. Dante Exum isn't moving.

Larry Sanders - Solid big on $11M expiring deal
Doug McDermott - Sharpshooting wing
Wilson Chandler - Well rounded wing on a very reasonable contract
David Lee - $5M expiring deal, can still hold his own as a back-up forward
PHX 2018 1st - Willing to throw this in a deal to make it more interesting - Marcos is talking a BIG game about his prospects.

I'm not going to try and sell you the rest of the guys like they're going to help you win. That nonsense isn't me, go to the other blocks if you want scrubs.

Ideally, I'd like to keep one of Chandler/McDermott to add a more offensive minded big that can score and balance us out. Lillard and Exum are nasty but there is no help. We also have $10M in cap space that we can help eat if the right incentive comes our way.

Otherwise, we're cool to go into the off-season and add a max player alongside Lillard and Exum.

Lots of moves about to go down. Get at me if you're interested before it's too late.

McDermott, Hickson, cap space going to be on the move. . .

Looking at the market for Larry Sanders. He's a very solid big man in the league and anyone in need of one to make a run at it is welcome to offer. I value the expiring contract very much as well so he's not going to be cheap. Will give that up, though, if the price is right.

Also, one of McDermott or Chandler will be moved soon so please let me know if you're interested.

I would like to trade before the deadline. Have some valuable assets here.

Chandler is on a great deal and solid two way player for playoff teams. McDermott is a lights out shooter, might not play much defense but holds his own and his offense outweighs that flaw. Sanders is an excellent big men in a league with few, an expiring deal if a contender wants to make a run and needs one more piece.

Also have cap space, expiring deals and picks.

Sanders = 82/69 REB, 80 DEF 79 BLK 54 STL. Top C to get someone over the hump, $11M expiring if you don't want the long-term commitment.
Chandler = Solid two way player on great deal, can play SG or SF
McDermott = Shoots lights out from deep, has good enough handle to play the 2 if need be.
Lee = Still has some muscle in the post 61/61 REB and is a nice $5M expiring (team option)
BKN + PHX 1sts = potentially late but you read the hype on this draft.

We also have $9M in cap space that we can use if it makes sense.

Again, looking to swap Chandler/McDermott for a serviceable PF. Interested in picks, a backup PG. Bring whatever ideas you got.
