Knight is doing great as the 1st option

Clearly the alpha male on a team that shipped out LeBron and Monroe as well as a lack of depth at both guard positions. He's been playing great for you and it doesn't come as a surprise to many, especially Biz who was the one who traded him away.

That was predictable... He wasn't getting those numbers here. He's a pretty nice 1st option when his shot is falling like this

Small sample size thus far, but he has been doing very well for you! However I don't see his shooting percentages to maintain at this high level.

Having Josh Smith certainly helps his numbers.

Id be willing to bet that there is 0 chance he sustains this

Most likely. But at least we have finally found our point guard. We were going nowhere with an aging roster and now I honestly think we're on the right track ... although need more pieces obviously and results will still take time to come (maybe a couple seasons).

Well these percentages are actually quite close to what Knight was carrying this time last season. Granted he was averaging 18 or so rather than 27 points, playing fewer minutes, and was a 3rd option to Harden and Faried.
And then he proceeded to shoot somewhere in the ballpark of 35/30 shooting splits in the second half.
He's a guy that can carry a team but can also sink a team. I'll be keeping an eye on him all season.

To me he is sessoms of the nll. Looks great on paper but nothing else. Hope he does well, abd if he does id be selling him in a heartbeat. I dont think any contending team can be built around him as a starter. But im sure there wre a few who disagree.

He played enough minutes with our starters to be called one. Might've been 2nd in minutes for us last year.

Id argue that he cost u back to back rings too... furthermore, your team wasnt built around him as he was just a complimentary piece

Impressive beginnings with the Bucks but thaht AST/TO ratio isn't really sexy for a starting Point Guard

His numbers fall when matched against top tier PGs I think. Not a star but a starter on a winning team

I love it when players join a new team and redeem themselves. Well done Manu as usually

I always liked Knight to some degree. He just never fit my style. Especially when we had him here in Boston.
When he can dominate the ball he's a very good PG IMO. Will be interesting to see if he can make a strong case for MIP - he definitely will if he can keep it going like he does right now.
Good work man.

Updated with our core moving forward. In Alexander's case, the sample is still small since we increased his playing time recently, but he's the reason Josh Smith is on the block.
