The first round Match up of The Memphis Grizzlies vs Utah Jazz will be one of the hardest series to predict of the first round as both teams have quality and strong players , The Season Series went 2-2 and the last win was a few sims ago as the Jazz beat the Grizzlies at home but on the road it will be more difficult as for the Jazz to win they will have to snatch one .

The Wildcards of Each team:

Memphis : Eric Stuteville, He has been going off recently as he starts for the grizzlies incuding a few 40 point games as Andrei has found a real gem of the player after they lost Bruno in free agency .

Utah :John Collins, he can either put up huge games from the bench or he will go quiet ..The jazz need him in the best form is they are to get through .

Special insights:

Memphis is the best team leading the league in points per game and has the best fg percentage for the year.
Utah are third in steals per game for the year and have the 5th best defensive rating


Who Will Win and why:

Both teams are evenly matched and it will come down to who wins a road game against the other team or a game 7 and as much as i want to win after our great season this year i think it will be Memphis in 7 .

Super interesting series. I'm excited about this Jazz team and you did an awesome job. We played a few sims ago and I found it difficult to match up defensively especially with Ellison and Mitchell. Can't wait for first sim. Good luck man

normally I would go with better defense, but home court is real in DDS. It should be a very close series.

Game 1:

The Utah jazz wins in an upset as game 1 falls to the road team . Both teams were close until the 4th quarter when the Jazz out scored the Grizzlies 28 to 19 points in what was a game full of fouls with culver fouling out and Bowen , Gates for memphis and McCoy and collins for Utah nearly fouling out .

Malik Ellison had a huge game with 23 point and 20 rebounds for the jazz and Okoro 18 points 7 assists as for the Grizzlies Stuteville had 24 points 8 rebounds, Culver 17 points 7 assists 5 rebounds and Mobley 16 points from the bench .

The question now remains was this a fluke for the jazz? but they will need to win a home to keep their advantage but its still along way to go
