Awkward night for poor Anthony Davis

Dear Diary,
Today was one of the worst games I’ve ever played in. I feel so sad and upset that even having Teddy by my side does not help
.
I was so excited about the acquisition of Stephen Curry – now I can do whatever I want on the court and no-one can ever double-team me. But the first game was horrible.
It all started early in the first quarter. I am posting up this Grizzlies scrub and another comes over (which happens quite often). In these situations I like to dish the ball out to Courtney Lee for a sweet three, so I look around to pass it to him. I look left – no Courtney Lee. I look right – no Courtney Lee. Where da hell is Courtney Lee?
While I was thinking a big braided muscly dude came over and ripped the ball from my hands. I mean, the dude is huge, maybe too big for a small forward but that’s my own opinion.
Anyway, I put this behind me and continue to play. Next trip on offense, same thing happens – I am looking for Trevor Ariza but he is nowhere to be found. I see some dude wearing NOP uniform who looks more like a fan, but he in on the court. I look at coach Woodsonand he is pointing at him and says ‘’Pass the ball, he is open’’. I hesitate but pass him the ball.
Man, I’ve never seen anybody bricking an open jumper like that. I know we do fan appreciation nights but this is taking it too far. Later, I find out the dude was actually Ian Miller and he is on my team – had no idea who he was. (Reminder for future: learn the faces and names of players on our bench)
So we get hammered by the Grizzlies and, after the game, they told me that a rookie picked in the 2nd round started the game against me at PF. I AM THE GREATEST PLAYER IN CSL HISTORY. NUMBER 1 OUT OF 400+ PLAYERS IN THIS LEAGUE. AND THEY PUT THIS 60TH OR WHATEVER PICK TO DEFEND ME. HOW DARE THEY TREAT ME LIKE THAT?
After the game I expressed my dissatisfaction with the Coach. President SunScorched was there also but he didn’t say much. Just sitting there sipping on some nice Red Breast Irish whiskey. Apparently a present from Grizzlies Chairman. Didn’t notice the age statement but heard they were all good.
After I finished with my complaints. SunScorched, stood up, looked at the coach and said ‘’Don’t worry Anthony, this will not happen again.’’ That’s when I knew that it was time for me to leave as the Coach is in for a tough conversation.
Anyway, I need to calm down and put this incident behind me. I know, I'll have a strawberry slushy with a double chocolate ice-cream. That will be fun
Hope tomorrow will be a much better day.
Hugs and Kisses
AD

This was a great read!
I didn't see the box score for the game yet but I saw the final score and boy that game must have been ugly to watch. The Grizz are not a pretty brand of basketball but get the job done.

They still had AD and Steph on the floor though... 99.9% that should be enough lol... just a weird game

In all fairness you are master tactician andrei who I take every matchup with your team very seriously. That said, Steph and AD plus whoever as a team should put up more than 61pts regardless of DC.

Man that was awesome. I think all the emojis and text coloring really sold it. Was just missing like a unicorn to make it perfect!

Geez, SS is letting a player run his franchise and call the shots? What a puppet.
