2017-18 CSL Season - NBA 2k17 Simulation

So I've input every team's roster into a 2k MyLeague just to see how things played out. I ignored all players that weren't in the 2k17 default roster (sorry to teams that have impact players that aren't in 2k, like Okaro White, etc). No rating adjustments either, so role players that are stars in the CSL (Faried, Cotton, etc) still have their original ratings. Thought this would be fun. I'll input signings and trades as they happen and run a couple next season.

Orlando: 56 wins (PG averages 24/7/4.2, Cousins 16.6/9.6/3.8, Bosh 15.6/7.1 wins 6MOY, Draymond Green averages 12.8/8.8/4.8)

Boston: 53 (Westbrook underperforms with just 18.1/8.4/5.7 averages, but McCollum averages 23ppg (yes I realize he was supposed to be in Phoenix, not sure how he got here)

Milwaukee: 51 (LeBron won DPOY while averaging 26/9.6/7.6/2.7 in arguably his best statistical season as a pro. Lowry also averaged a tad under 20ppg)

Toronto: 51 (Kawhi averages 22.3/8.0, and Drummond 19.3/12.9, and Gasol 15.1/8.5. Hill and Jennings each put up about 11ppg and 7.5apg but neither was able shoot higher than 39%.

Charlotte: 51 (Wiggins, Jokic, Lin, Gortat, and Goodwin all miss major time (20 games or more) doesn't matter. Balanced attack led by Melo with 20/7.8/5.9)

Indiana: 46 (Blake 19.8/9.5, Dragic 13.2, Favors 11.5/9.4)

Cleveland: 45 (league's leading scorer AND assist leader Kyrie Irving put up 33.1ppg, 9.3apg, while his next two leading scorers (Korver and Jianlian) were supposed to be generic placeholders but average 31ppg. Cleveland could've done way better if Kyrie had played more than 60 games)

Brooklyn: 43 (Howard averages 15.7/11.4, leading seven double figure scorers)

New York: 42 (DeRozan 20.3/4.2/4.2, Love 18.8/12.3/2.2 in just 27 games)

Atlanta: 38 (Monta 17.9/5.9apg, Val 16.8/11.1

Detroit: 37 (Kemba puts up 18.4/6.8 on monster efficiency, and Ibaka averaged 15.4/8.4, but nobody decided to focus on efficency. TT is the only other player even cracking 40% from the field! Rubio by far was the worst culprit and shot just 35% on the season. TT also led the league in rebounding with nearly 15rpg)

Chicago: 34 (Butler 19.1ppg, Horford 17.3/11.8, Rose 13/2.5/3.1, Noah averaged 6.6ppg and 10.8rpg but only played 18 games)

Washington: 33 (Wall 19.4ppg, 6.4apg, Enes Kanter 15.6/13.4rpg, but somehow neither one is able to surpass 42% shooting on the season)

Philly: 28 (Jordan Crawford is substituted for Jamal Crawford, who leads in scoring, followed by Bradley, then Teague, then Steven Adams, and THEN Jabari Parker (12.1ppg))

Miami: 20 (Hayward averaged an unreal 23.7/6.6/7.4, but Miami somehow only won 13 out of 70 games before he disclocated his patella and somehow going 7-5 after that)



West:

Portland: 60 (Durant wins MVP, helping his team overcome season ending injury to Alec Burks. Millsap puts up 17/9/5, Jordan 14/12.)

Golden State: 60 (Steph averages 26.2/6.5/7.9/2.5 on the craziest shooting splits you've ever seen: 54.9/46.4/92.3. 332 made three-pointers on the season)

LA Clippers: 49 (IT, Batum, and Reggie Jackson all average at least 15.5 and 5.5 apg apiece)

Houston: 47 (Harden 26.1/6.6/7.7 in 72 games, Faried plays only 22 games, Gallinari 28, Knight 44, Thad 48, and Iggy 55. Yikes, never seen anything like this in a 2k simulation before)

San Antonio: 43 (seven players average double-figure scoring, all of whom are guards, lead by Tyreke 14.5/5.8/6.3)

Minnesota: 42 (Chris Paul averages 19.9/5.3/8.7/3.6spg. #2 option is an accidentally signed Dirk Nowitzki who averages 19.0/7.3)

NO: 39 (Davis 25.6/10.8 and Ramon Sessions 14.9/8.4 carried this team after Courtney Lee breaks neck playing all of 24 games)

Sacramento: 36 (barely sneak into the playoffs despite 21.7ppg from Parsons, but injuries shorten seasons of McConnell, Payton, and McLemore. Payton has interesting statline of 4.9ppg, 8.3apg)

Dallas: 36 (almost edged out Sacramento but Beal came back from a 27 game injury with two games left in the season and dropped two 40-point games. He and Jahlil Okafor average 25.6ppg apiece, getting virtually nothing from anyone else)

Phoenix: 35 (Bledsoe leads team with 21.2/5.7apg/2.3spg on miserable shooting splits of 38.8/31.2/80.3)

Utah: 33 (Aldridge 22.5/13.1 and Lillard 22/3.6/3.8 are the only double-figure scorers on that entire team. Only got 27 games from McDermott, 9 from Ariza, and 9 from Appling due to injury)

OKC: 32 (rookie Denzel Valentine leads EIGHT players with double-figure scoring averages with 16ppg, Lopez averaged 15.2/11.9 and led the league with 2.9bpg)

LA Lakers: 32 (Giannis averages 16/8/3, Booker 14.8, Dipo 10.9/4.2./4.2)

Memphis: 30 (Gary Harris and DJ Augustin each average 16.6ppg but they were the only two players averaging double digits. However, eight other players averaged 8ppg or more)

Denver: 28 (worst shooting team in recent memory? Only Jared Dudley shot better than 30% from downtown, and only Vuc (14.7) and Plumlee (14) averaged double figures)
