Rumor has it that this could be the final season for GM Rox. He could be kicked or decided to call it quits after yet another unsuccessful season for the Chicago Bulls. Some may say they did great especially in the Playoffs, reaching the 2nd round only to fell short in Game 7 against the Celtics. But at the end of the day, it's championship or nothing for the proud Franchise. It may be absurd but the Management did not see the whole thing as a success even if they almost make it to the Conference Finals.

" We've always preached for success and there is no such thing as moral victory in what we have accomplished this season. At the end of the day, banners counts. We appreciate what he has done for the Franchise but 6 years without a chip? there's definitely something not right. We have to evaluate things first and foremost and come up with the best possible solution within the Organization." said Jerry Reinsdorf, Chicago Bulls longtime owner.

Team success may be a failure so maybe we can just focus on the rising players instead? Here we go;

Image

Davion Mitchell
Regular Season: 18.2 PPG - 4.8 APG - 6.2 RPG - 3.1 SPG - 0.4 BPG - .425 FG%
Playoffs: 21.5 PPG - 3.8 APG - 4.7 RPG - 3.9 SPG - 0.4 BPG - .466 FG%

Davion rose to the occasion particularly in the Playoffs. He just made it clear that this is his team now even with a lot of player movements here and there. The way he ended the regular season is something the team can look forward to in the incoming seasons.

Image

Tyrese Maxey
Regular Season: 9.5 PPG - 1.2 APG - 1.8 RPG - 0.6 SPG - 0.2 BPG - .369 FG%
Playoffs: 18.2 PPG - 2.3 APG - 2.2 RPG - 1.5 SPG - 0.2 BPG - .465 FG%

"Playoff Maxey!" Of all the Bulls, Tyrese had the most impactful Post Season. Who would have thought that he would explode like this in the most important part of the tournament? If this was any indication, Bulls fans are about to witness something special next season.

Image

Ja Morant
Regular Season: 19.7 PPG - 4.1 APG - 3.6 RPG - 1.2 SPG - 0.9 BPG - .386 FG%
Playoffs: 18.1 PPG - 5.3 APG - 2.2 RPG - 1.2 SPG - 0.5 BPG - .442 FG%

One highly recognized GM quoted this following Morant's arrival in Chicago, "Its terrible for chicago. There is no way that team makes the playoffs now, no matter how good of a coach roxxy is." Well, Morant simply proved it otherwise. Their back court combo of Mitchell could be legit good afterall?

The rest of the team did well on their own terms with special mention to Zach Collins, Jordan Mickey, and Dragan Bender. We may not seen the best of this squad just yet, but they seems to be growing together as a great team. Hopefully, they stay together for another title run.

Just the like Hawks, you got could have great season with the best backcourt in the csl next season.

I really hope you don't decide to part from this project halfway through. You've done a great job building an identity around your young star in Mitchell. This team is not far from being top tier. Another team that I think could be a buyer this off-season and be positioned for a very fun season.

It would be saddening to see you leave, when you haven't even finished your roster build yet. You've already done a great job, and I'd hate to see you leave half-way through the project.

I like the attitude of champ or bust :-)
But getting to be a champ needs some preparation and this young Bulls team showed it is on the right path. Really good showing in the playoffs. As you said, especially Maxey surprised me big time. Your backcourt in general looks awesome.

I hope you will build them into the true champ!
