Always like seeing an underdog win. You took some major risks, some worked, others didn't, but eventually you got the job done. You built the Thunder from the ground up and got a title out of it. There's no better feeling in this league than that last finals win. Congrats.

But seriously, congrats on the title. I thought for sure that you being stubborn and keeping SJJ would ruin your title chances. He is not a good fit for your team given the rest of your roster... but you won despite him. So well done.

I also never realized that MKG once played for OKC.

I always had faith in Stanley. Sure sometimes he is inconsistent but when he's on, he's unstoppable. If teams try to game plan for Bledsoe, Klay... Stanley will go off. If teams try to game plan for Stanley, Bledsoe or Klay will go off. I call them my three headed monster.

Stanley was struggling the first few games in the finals but then I mixed him from pf/c throughout the game so the Heat would have to try to defend him at both positions. 378lb. Smith ended up switching from center to power forward and Stanley ate him alive. MKG at center did pretty well too, when Smith was playing center, because MKG is great at defense and stealing.

And yeah, MKG played for me when I had a shit roster. He came back when I was ready to contend. Sort of like a girlfriend leaving when the guy is poor, but when he gets money, she trys to run back to him. MKG is a gold digger I guess.

Geez we could've used Westbrook that series. He was a top 5 player and from memory, could have used him on Klay who magically shot 99% of his shots from three hitting a ton of them.

Yeah I remember, you traded for Westbrook but he got hurt, like he did for Boston before that The next season when we faced in the WC finals you ultimately beat me 4-2.

But my first playoffs ever, kinda cool I took down all the top dogs with Klay, Bledsoe and SJJ. Perfect blend of role players too.

That might never be repeated again but definitely my favorite moment in my career.
