New York (AP) -- David Keene has been named the General Manager of the New York Knick, the team announced today. Keene was signed to a multi-year contract by Knicks owner Charles Rolen did not disclose any terms of the deal. D. Keene was brought in to cut payroll, get back under the salary cap and revitalize the team that had only 28 wins and did not make the playoffs
"We're looking forward to David Keene taking this storied franchise to the next level. In the interviewed process we look at several candidates for the GM position, we chose Dave as our GM because we believed that he was the right person to turn this franchise around now and for the foreseeable future. He brings to the team many years of experience and knowledge, but is new to the CSL League. But he is a General Manager who's coming to New York to change the way that things are being done, to bring a winning culture to our club. He's passionate about his job and wants to see the team grow and succeeded . There's a lot of work to do to bring this franchise more championships and I'm very confident that Dave has the personality and experience to accomplish this," Rolen's was quoted as saying.
