Use 2k15 instead of DDS

Has anyone ever thought about doing that?
I mean 2K is as close as it gets from real NBA

And there is a mode in PS4 (I don't know if the others have) called My League where you can control every team and take care of the league itself, setting Gameplans, DCs.. There's a great scouting method over there, also you can set trainings in days off or get some rest. There's progressive fatigue as the season is being played, and it's so damn realistic, oh boy.

Of course, it would be very difficult to upload every needed info as we'd likely need to upload manually every boxscore, team page, and everything else, but PS4 has a share button which can share things very quickly at Facebook, or we can simple take every screenshot needed, put it on a pen drive, then transfer everything to a computer and then upload.
Or we can search at the Internet for better ways to turn an offline league into an online one by uploading things.
We could use this forum to run the league.
I really don't know if it's possible but I'd try that for sure. If playing my GM and running a single organization against computer controlled teams is amazing, imagine playing a 30 team my league against real people. Simple amazing.

Was thinking about this very quickly, and came up with this, which could serve as a model

2-3 people who have NBA 2K would sim it. To transfer league file between PS4s, just put it into a pen drive and then upload it at Dropbox at any PC.
Stats screen shots would be updated twice a week (Tuesday, Thursday)
Team roster screenshots would be updated twice a week (Monday, Wednsday), or after any trade
Scouting would be done once a week (Wednsday)
Practice / Rest on day offs would be set at every Monday (you'd be able to set it during the whole week)
Gameplans / DCs could be changed at any point (very easy to do in game)

This way we'd be constantly updating every key info without giving simmers too much work.
Anyway repeat don't know if it would work but I'd definitely try and help if more people like the idea.

I really dont like 2k sims because defensive players are really undervalued.

Dont like 2k either. And its way too complicated. DDS3 you need ~15-30 minutes per day to SIM everything, Upload it etc. Your process Sounds like 2 hours work per Day at least. Way too much. Creating the file after FA for example was ~3 hours work. I believe getting all the Screenshots done would need nearly the same amount of time. Way too time Consuming.

Nah, a 2K sim just wouldn't work as it would take way to much time. Just not worth it at all in my opinion.

Man, I'm so old. I used to really enjoy NBA Live series. Used to buy the new game every year starting from 97 (97 and 99 best OSTs). Great games until the 2005 version with Carmelo. It just didn't feel right and I quit for 2 years. Good times NBA 2K7 brought me back but I never played another version again

So true. Video games especially, NEED competition. Because if not, they know with a fan base as big as basketball has, people will still buy it no matter how similar it is to the previous titles. There is no incentive for the to improve.

Honestly I wish EA would get back into the basketball market. Although I haven't liked Live since 2004, it's good for the entire industry. Also it might cause 2k to wander back into the College Hoops games again which would make me slightly wet.

I still have my original copy but don't play games any more. Just don't have the time. I remember I had a dynasty that started at St. John's for seven seasons, winning a national title in my sixth season, and then moving on to SMU for two more years. Man, great times.

Live '15 is actually a pretty good game, I feel more realistic plays happen through the course of that game than 2k which I stopped playing.

Actually enjoy the difference of the sim league experience as much as the video game experience.

I did enjoy putting the csl team rosters into the game and seing outcomes, that actually helped me in oCSL, alot.
