Expanding on it further, the Cavs already had players with elite skills in one or more areas in Irving and DePaula, so it was more about finding the right strategy, which drumr definitely has done, and he deserves full credit for that.

There's also a bit of luck involved with Dallas and their picks panning out in draft slot, but that's true of almost every elite team - sometimes you just get lucky in how a future pick pans out (donkey from NLL is another one with this - I'm the opposite). That said, the reversal from where the Mavs were to this season was absolutely astounding work on Brett's part.
